There were 14 wines evaluated, split into Flight A of 8 wines and Flight B of 6 wines.- Comments: Seventeen tasters submitted evaluations for Flight A and eleven tasters submitted evaluations for Flight B.  Total scores that were within 5% of each other were deemed to be statistically equal and the wines were assigned the same ranking.  It is interesting that the winemaker for the tied 1-2 place wines in Flight A was Michael Martella (for Thomas Fogarty Wines as well as his own label), although from different  appellations and vintages.  The guy knows what he is doing.
